No longer Sleepless in ScotlandWe are all currently sat in a pub in Crieff watching the Champions League Final. As there is only another six people in here and two of them are bar staff, we're guessing there is not a huge Manchester United / Barcelona fan base in the middle of Scotland. I'm so glad we booked a table!! Today the boys have walked another 21 miles. For anyone who has a copy of our itinerary, please rewrite the next four days as many hours of re-planning have taken place over the past 24 hours and we now have new finishing points. So this afternoon instead of finishing in Gilmerton the boys walked an extra nine miles and I picked them up in a town called Garrick (is that a ‘B' side by The Jam?) Tomorrow they will walk from Garrick to Denny, Friday's route will be Denny to Wishaw (obviously not the one in the Midlands as that would be a huge achievement), Saturday they will finish in Wiston and Sunday I'll pick them up in Crawford – back on schedule. Part of the reason for this is that and I quote '14 miles walking in the morning is getting more like a stroll'. Today's topic's for the letter ‘I' were Internet, India and Innovations. As the ‘worst car in the world ‘ debate got you all talking, we'd now like your help with two other question's. 1. Naming five Indian sport's stars who aren't cricketers and 2. who invented the Internet? We'll be super impressed if you know without having to use Google. Last night's Hotel in Dunkeld was much improved on ‘The Unspeakable' from Monday night even if the view from Mike's window was a ladder on a roof. And the reason I know that is only because I put his bags in his room yesterday afternoon after I'd checked in. But this didn't stop him having his best night's sleep since being in Scotland helped by him bringing his feather pillow from home. We have unanimously decided that we love the town of Crieff for our own different reasons. Mike likes the architecture, Nick likes the quaint shops and cafes and I'm happy because for the first time in two weeks I have taken part in my first bit of retail therapy. As promised, we'd like to say thank you to Ceris and David at the Central Cafe for a very welcomed lunch and delicious piece of lemon polenta cake.
