Table for two Mr Clooney?

After 8 days of walking, today has been their longest yet.  For many different reasons yesterday's walk was shorter than planned so the boys had an extra 5 or so miles to make up.  But an early start, good weather and their combined stubbornness has meant that almost 30 miles later they are back on track.  Today, they found a cycle path that runs alongside the main road which we think may have added a few extra yards to the final total but there were more sheep for them to chat to and fewer long distance lorries drivers hurtling towards them round every corner.  Tracey / Vikki; you can put the Life Insurance documents away, I promise to get them home to you at the weekend in one piece!

Tonight they have aches and pains all over but a cold pint of Trade Winds local ale in their hand.  I asked them to sum up today and unanimously they came back with 'crazy but stupendous' and I completely agree.  I hope that I am doing a good job of conveying to you just how hard they are finding this but also just how well they are both doing.

So yes, Nick nearly has his 6 pack and now people will question whether that actually is George Clooney making a table reservation when really it's Mike Sanders!!
